Verdict:
The Burger Gourmet is on the road again!  This time, I'm in San Francisco thanks to the wonderful folks over at Aeria Games.  As you know, my rule when visiting any new restaurant is to first try the burger.  It's one of the easier items to make, there's plenty to do with it, and it's also deceptively easy to screw up.

I order all of my burgers medium and the kitchen at Fuzio grilled it to perfection.  There was a slight tinge of pink in the center (as it should be) and the burger was juicy without being runny.  There was no noticeable grease to be found and the Bistro Burger passed my most important test which was that it didn't leave any drops or puddles on my plate.  The expert seasoning brought out the full flavor of the meat which was of a hearty texture.

The toppings are the cheeseburger classics: lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, and cheese.  I didn't pick a cheese, but the burger came with the staple cheddar cheese.  The veggies were fresh, crisp, and an excellent compliment to the seasoned meat.  The grilled onions were sweet without having an overpowering taste or ruining my breath afterwards.  Holding it all together was the lightly toasted bun which never got soggy or unexpectedly fell apart.

The Bistro Burger is the pinnacle of the classic burgers.  It does everything right without having to cross into the territory of specialty ingredients.  It's a definite must-try if you're in the San Francisco area.

On the side:
Short and thin thyme-seasoned fries which could stand on their own as an appetizer.
