I'm more than a little in love with my viera in FF XIV. As such, I had to draw her.  

  I've recently been taken by Fire Force. Something about the steampunk/supernatural aesthetic really hit me.  I tried drawing Tamaki Kotatsu in a more traditional pinup fashion, but I'm not super happy with it. :/ Oh well, practice practic practice.

 I'm relatively late to the Monster Hunter party. I had Monster Hunter 2 Freedom on PSP, but was never able to get too far into it. I then dove into the new hotness that was Monster Hunter Tri , but again, couldn't get too far into it. Something just never clicked. Then I got Monster Hunter World and was hooked. Hard. Now, while I desperately want Monster Hunter Rise , I'm waiting for the inevitable PC release. So what will tide me over until then? Why Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin of course. MHS2 was released this July and is a follow-up to Monster Hunter Stories which was released for 3DS, iOS, and Android between 2016-2018 (platform/region releases).   We're in the final week of Solstice of Heroes. For the final week, each day will be a PRISM day. While it is imperative to finish your grind for each armor set, note that the white glows don't have a deadline. Dungeons, raids, and competitive Crucible objectives can be completed at any time to unlock the white glow. Next week will be the final Iron Banner of the season. The Riiswalker and Archon's Thunder weapons can still be earned from the quest in addition to post-game drops and bounty completions. "Imagine Lord Shaxx Screaming Here"  It's about time we got to the business of fixing the Crucible. For years the mode has languished without any meaningful update. So, how do we change this? I've come up with six items I think the mode could really benefit from. 1. Balance PvE and PvP Content Separately  This seems to be the biggest hurdle to clear right away. Whenever a new weapon is released, it goes through a phase where it dominates either mode or sometimes both. While not a weapon, we saw By dedicating a team within the Destiny development group to Crucible that focuses solely on balancing the different modes and weapons, I believe great things could happen. This way, players could still realize their power fantasy in PVE but also feel more evenly equipped against whatever the Crucible meta might be. 2.   This past Thursday, it was revealed in the TWAB , that Bungie would be making some changes to how Armor Synthesis works in Destiny 2. "Since the launch of Season of the Splicer we have been monitoring reception and behavior around our new Armor Synthesis system. Today we’d like to review a minor update around the system’s currencies.  Effective at the start of Season 15 we will deprecate the passively-earned world currency, Synthstrand, that was used to purchase Armor Synthesis bounties from Ada-1. In its place, these bounties will be purchasable for 10,000 Glimmer instead.  Our hope is that this change reduces the time needed to earn your 10 Synthweave tokens per class each Season.  Removing this currency also frees up a slot in the Consumables inventory bucket — a bucket that could be full for those of you carrying around a large quantity of items.   I love my hunter and palico in Monster Hunter World. there is just something so wholesome about their relationship. What wasn't so wholesome was the way this drawing turned my hand into a claw. But, it was worth it. I'm super happy with how it turned out. STORE LINK

Today at EA Play Live a special surprise was revealed at the end of the show. EA is bringing back Dead Space with Motive as the development studio. It will be a remake of the first game and will be available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There is currently no release date. Motive is a studio out of Montreal, Quebec and its most recent release was Star Wars: Squadrons . Dead Space was a popular survival horror trilogy released back in 2008 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. EA Redwood was the initial developer before Visceral Games took over for the remainder of the series. Dead Space 2 was the critically acclaimed sequel released in 2011. Unfortunately, it was decided to chase trends and Dead Space 3 , released in 2013, became an action shooter and lost much of the survival horror roots that had helped make the series so popular. Procreate Developer: Savage Interactive Pty Ltd Platform: iOS Cost: $9.99/$4.99 When I say that Procreate is a revolutionary program, please don’t mistake that as some exaggeration or hyperbole. This one program has completely changed the way I create and subsequently look at art. It is the single best piece of software on my iPad and one I use daily now. Without it, I would still be struggling to not only make art regularly, but make art at all. Prior to this, I had been using a Wacom tablet and a variety of programs. I started with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop before eventually settling on AutoDesk Sketchbook . It worked, but there was always this disconnect as I would draw on the tablet, but have to look at the screen to see what was happening. There was also the issue of the pen tips wearing down the surface of my tablet. It was time to look at something new. Unfortunately, Procreate is only available for iOS at this time. There, I’ve said it. It’s out in the open now. The story picks up several years after the events of RE7 . If, like me, players had not experienced RE7 , there is a recap available that broadly goes over the events to bring the player up to speed.
