FFXIV: The Rising Event
The Rising is making a return to Eorzea. It celebrates the game's 8th anniversary. It is scheduled to run from August 27 - September 9. To begin this year's quest, players will need to speak to Kipih Jakkya in Ul'dah (X:10, Y8.7). Players must be at least level 15 to accept the quest.
There are two advertised rewards for the quest, the Red Moon Parasol and Nymeia Potpourri. The potpourri is a fireworks type effect item, so much like the actual fireworks from Moonfire Faire, it will most likely be available to purchase in stacks. Once the event kicks off, make sure to check the Lodestone for past Rising event items to go on sale:
